Soulless ZOMBIE BROOKLYN HIPSTERS (ZBH as I like to call them) tried to eat my brains so I escaped to Berlin. There are zombie hipsters here too, but they are easy to avoid. Plus, I can barely understand what most of them are saying.
what’s your message?
I don't have a singular message. Each song has an individual message. Just listen to the songs.
do you play shows and how do they look like?
Yes I play shows, will start again in January. They are basically me standing in front of a mic, holding an electric guitar and singing. Most times I play with a looper pedal and a pared down drum kit if sound ordinances allow.
what was the craziest show you’ve ever played ?
My shows usually don't get too crazy. The craziest stuff usually happens behind the scenes. At my biggest show in Berlin I once had a "big time" German promoter threaten to throw me out of an airplane. That was pretty hilarious.
what was the worst and why?
I used to play in restaurants sometimes. People eating and conversing and clinking glasses while you're playing? Fuck that.
what are your future plans?
Make great films and music. Become less and less frustrated by idiots.
are you going for the big deal or are you more the d.i.y. type?
Well I doubt I will ever get the big deal considering I don't write lyrics about my genitals and where and how I'll "throw" them and dress like a dayglo banana so me thinks diy will be the way to go for the forseeable future.

what’s your best song eva and why?:
I like a song called Patience, My Love. It is acoustic and delicate and very honest. It's about holding on. I like hardness and noise but I'm proud of how delicate and naked that song sounds. It takes bravery to be gentle.
t's a cover of Cat Power's "Free". I was part of a show a few years ago that asked bands to do a set of covers by a Matador artist and I chose her. This is one of my favorite covers that I came up with. So enjoy!
